The Office of Academic Engagement (OAE) hosts the only DHS-wide education council, coordinates the Secretary’s engagements with academia, and facilitates roundtable discussions between education associations and DHS senior leadership.
The Homeland Security Academic Partnership Council (HSAPC) is a federal advisory committee comprised of higher education leaders and federal partners who collectively provide advice and recommendations to the Secretary and senior leadership on matters related to homeland security affecting academia.
